Acceptable Use Policy
Effective 2026-05-14 · Incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service.
This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) describes prohibited uses of the Nexus services and websites operated by Slingshot LLC (the “Services”). You are responsible for your own activity and the activity of users in your Workspace. Violating this AUP may result in suspension or termination of the Services without refund.
1. Prohibited content
You will not use the Services to store, transmit, or process:
- Content that is illegal where you operate, where the content is hosted, or where it is received.
- Content that infringes any intellectual-property right, right of publicity, or other proprietary right.
- Content that incites violence, terrorism, or hatred against a person or group; or that sexually exploits or endangers minors.
- Personal data subject to special protection (e.g., health, biometrics, criminal records) unless we agree in writing in advance and you have obtained all required consents.
- Government-classified information, payment-card primary account numbers (PAN) outside of our payment-gateway integrations, or any data prohibited by the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law without a lawful basis.
2. Prohibited activity
You will not:
- Send unsolicited bulk email, SMS, or any other unsolicited commercial communications. All email sent through the Services must comply with applicable anti-spam law (including consent and unsubscribe requirements).
- Impersonate any person or entity, misrepresent your affiliation, or forge headers or identifiers.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network; attempt to breach authentication or security; introduce malware or any code intended to damage or disrupt.
- Circumvent any rate limit, licence gate, or technical restriction.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or copy the Services beyond what is expressly permitted in the Terms.
- Use the Services to build a competing product or to benchmark against the Services for competitive purposes.
- Resell the Services, sublicense access, or use them to provide a service to a third party other than as expressly permitted.
- Consume an unreasonable share of system resources, including by automation that interferes with normal operation.
- Use the Services in any way that violates the Saudi Anti-Cyber Crime Law, the PDPL, applicable export controls, or sanctions regimes.
3. Outbound communications
Email and other outbound communications sent through the Services must (a) be sent only to recipients who have a lawful basis to receive them, (b) include a functional unsubscribe mechanism where required, and (c) accurately identify the sender. We may suspend or remove any sender that triggers spam complaints, bounces, or blocklist listings at rates exceeding industry norms.
4. Security cooperation
You will (a) maintain accurate contact information for security notices; (b) promptly cooperate with our reasonable security requests; and (c) report any suspected vulnerability or abuse to hit@eslingshot.com. Coordinated disclosure is welcome; we appreciate good-faith reporting and will not pursue researchers acting in good faith within the scope of our written policy.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and may, at our sole discretion and without notice where warranted: remove, disable, or restrict access to content; suspend or terminate users or Workspaces; report violations to authorities; cooperate with law-enforcement inquiries; or take any other action we reasonably consider necessary. No refunds are due for service interruption or termination resulting from a violation of this AUP.
6. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated as set out in the Terms of Service.
