Cancellation Policy
Effective 2026-05-14 · Incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service.
This policy explains how cancellation works on Nexus and confirms that all fees are non-refundable. It applies to every paid subscription on every account in good standing with Slingshot LLC.
1. All fees are non-refundable
All fees paid for Nexus are final and non-refundable. We do not issue refunds — in whole or in part, voluntarily or on request — for any reason, including but not limited to:
- partial billing periods, unused days, or early cancellation;
- unused seats, unused features, or unused Modules;
- workspaces that go inactive, dormant, or are abandoned;
- change of mind, change of business plans, or change of vendor;
- downgrading a plan or removing a Module mid-cycle;
- suspension or termination resulting from a breach of the Terms of Service or the Acceptable Use Policy;
- third-party failures (payment gateway, identity provider, customer’s internet connection, etc.).
By subscribing you acknowledge and accept that this is a B2B SaaS subscription for business use only and that the non-refundable nature of fees is a material part of the bargain reflected in our pricing.
2. Subscription model
Subscriptions are sold on a recurring basis. Monthly plans renew automatically on the same calendar day each month. Annual plans renew on the anniversary of the start date. You will be charged the then-current published price for the subscription unless your Order specifies otherwise.
3. How to cancel
You may cancel future renewals at any time from Settings → Billing, or by emailing hit@eslingshot.com from the email address on the workspace owner’s account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep access to the Services until then. No refund is owed for the unused portion of any period.
- Monthly plans. Cancel anytime before the next billing date to stop the next charge.
- Annual plans. Cancel at least 30 days before the renewal date to stop the next charge. Cancellations inside the notice window take effect at the end of the upcoming renewal year and the renewal fee remains payable.
4. Downgrades and removed Modules
Removing a Module or reducing seats takes effect immediately and reduces your next invoice accordingly. No mid-cycle credit, refund, or pro-rata adjustment is issued for the change.
5. Service Level Agreement
If we miss the uptime commitment in the SLA, the service-credit schedule in the SLA applies as your sole and exclusive remedy. Service credits are applied to future invoices and are not redeemable for cash. They are not a refund of fees already paid.
6. Failed payments and suspension
If a charge fails, we will retry and notify the workspace owner. If payment remains unsettled after the dunning window, we may restrict or suspend access to the Services. Suspended workspaces remain recoverable for a limited period (see the Privacy Policy for retention details); after that period, data may be deleted. No refund is owed for any period of suspension.
7. Billing disputes
Raise any billing question with us first at hit@eslingshot.com. Chargebacks or payment reversals initiated before contacting us may result in immediate suspension and the chargeback amount becoming due as a debt under the Terms. The dispute-resolution and governing-law clauses of the Terms apply to any unresolved dispute.
8. Statutory exceptions
Nexus is sold for business use only. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the no-refund rule above applies in full. Where mandatory law gives a particular customer a non-waivable right to a refund (which is rare for B2B subscriptions), we will honour only the legal minimum required by that law. No discretionary or goodwill refunds are offered.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated as set out in the Terms of Service.
